There are no drivers available for the webcam to be updated, either through Windows Update or through the vendor's website. Their webcam does not show up under Devices at all: There are no GPOs applied to the client machines. If I use the same Citrix account that the client uses, but just on my own laptop, then webcam redirection into Citrix works. In fact, the Citrix policy allows all (notice the "ALLOW: #" No GPOs or Citrix policies are configured to block devices. None of them are able to use the webcam inside a Citrix XenApp 7.15 LTSR session.

I am hesitant to do that, incase the download fails - then I'd have no driver AND no software.Does Citrix allow redirection of all types of webcams, specifically integrated webcams? Or does it only allow / support redirection for certain types? I ask this because one of our clients have 300+ laptops that are the same model.

However, it won't let me install the update without first uninstalling the existing Cyberlink software. I went to the Cyberlink website to install any updates to the YouCam software. It locks up and won't let me into Settings.

However, my webcam software (Cyberlink YouCam) still will not recognize it. Now I have an Imaging Device category in the Device Manager, and the Lexmark x422 is listed there. But nothing changed.Īfter reading several other posts, I then went to Device Manger -> Action -> Add Legacy Hardware -> searched for (and found!) Imaging Devices / Lexmark x422 (which I understand from all my research during this process that it is the original webcam). I went to the HP Recovery Manager and found both and installed them. Which downloaded the AMD HD Graphics Driver. I ran this which installed Cybercam software and installed this : I tried all the "search for" actions in the Device Manager, but nothing.įrom the post. I removed/replaced battery and restarted but there still was no Imaging Devices at all in the Device Manager.
If this helps, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
